These are the words of Dave Chilcoat, the father of some friends of mine. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease in 2003. It is well worth the watch.
I lost my father to ALS on 12/31/89 when he was 52 and I was 20. I still miss him all the time, especially since he's never met my husband and our four sons. He was a very spiritual, sensitive, articulate man like Mr. Chilcoat, so thank you for sharing this.
